RMHC Chattanooga Golf Classic

18 holes. One great cause.

October 18 at Black Creek Club – registration will be open fall 2021.

The RMHC Chattanooga Golf Classic at Black Creek has been going on since 1999, so we plan to continue this great tradition with social distancing and safety precautions in place.

PLEASE NOTE: Start times will be given in order of payment and preference. Staggered tee times from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Slot every ten minutes.  Due to social distancing guidelines, there will be no breakfast, dinner or awards ceremony. There will be snacks, beverages and a boxed lunch.

Contests are held throughout the tournament for hole-in-one, closest to the pin, a putting contest and more will result in great prizes. Awards will also be given to first and second place in each flight. The hole-in-one grand prize, sponsored by Mtn. View Ford, will be announced fall 2021! Golfers may also try their luck for a chance to win prizes for the additional par 3 holes. The best overall team for the day will be awarded the RMHC Kaylor Cup and more!

Golfers may register a team or join a team as an individual. Entry fee for one player is $350, which includes two meals plus a goody bag of various items and coupons plus a goody bag of pro-shop items. Four player team participation is $1,300. A Fun Card that comes with two mulligans, a skirt and a special contest on a par 3 hole is included in the cost.

Beat the Pro!
Test your skills and beat the pro on hole #11! Each participant that makes a minimum $50 donation to the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) will have the opportunity to hit on Hole #11 inside Professional Golfer Brooks Thomas to win a week’s vacation at a 2 bedroom condo located in Tropic Suns Tower (Ormond Beach). Brooks is an aspiring Professional Golfer working his way to the Korn Ferry Tour and hopefully one day can achieve his dream of qualifying for the PGA Tour. A portion of the donations (15%) will go to help cover upcoming tournament expenses for Brooks. The rest of the donation goes to help families with sick children at RMH!

How it works:
Players decide on the tee if they would like to participate in the Beat the Pro. Donations of any amount can be made but anyone who makes a donation of $50 or more will have a chance to Beat the Pro. Brooks will hit his tee shot first. The participants will then hit their tee shots and try to get their shot inside the tee shot of Brooks.

  • Anyone who is successful hitting their tee shot inside of Brooks will have two tickets put into a
drawing to win the week’s vacation.
  • Anyone who is unsuccessful will get one ticket put into the drawing to win the week’s vacation. If no one on the team beats Brooks’ shot, the team may play from Brooks’ location on the green.
  • Drawing will take place after the completion of the tournament.
