Bug-a-Paluza is a weekend community gathering on April 8 & 9 featuring Volkswagen cars, food and entertainment, plus lots of fun children’s activities. The two day event is hosted by the Scenic City Volks Folks.
Proceeds from gate and concession booth support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga.
The weekend car show began in 1999 and has grown from a handful of VW enthusiasts spending a Sunday afternoon in the dealership parking lot to one of the largest annual VW events in the region. Each year, a few thousand families, some from as far away as California, attend enjoying over 350 show cars and over 70 vendors. Bug-a-Palüza features Volkswagen cars, old and new, food, children’s activities, music and entertainment.
Gates opened at 8 a.m. Spectator entry just $4 per person. There is no charge for children under the age of 12. The event hosted by Scenic City Volks Folks, a local VW club raised nearly $13,000 last year from gate and concession booth sales for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chattanooga.
